The Vickers Mark E, Type A, also known as the Vickers 6 Ton Tank, is a British light tank developed by Vickers-Armstrongs in the 1930s. The tank was sold commercially to multiple nations, but the British military did not adopt it.
One Vickers Mk. E Type A and two Type B were exported to Bolivia. These saw service in the Chaco War in 1933. The two Type B models were destroyed and the one Type A model was captured by the Paraguayan forces.
Greece
1 Type A and 1 Type B were exported to Greece for testing. They were later used in the formation of the first armoured battalion of the Hellenic Army, but were used for training.
Poland, Second Republic of
16 Vickers Mk. E, Type A and 22 Type B were exported to Poland in 1932. Poland acquired a license and developed the 7TP from this model.
15 Vickers Mk. E, Type A were exported to the Soviet Union in 1931. The Soviets developed the T-26 from this model. These tanks were designated V-26 in Soviet service.
