The Steyr S9-A1 is an Austrian pistol developed in 2004.
The second generation S9 was named S9-A1. In 2010 the third generation was introduced but the name remained the same. When the fourth generation was developed in 2019, the S9 did not receive an upgrade and is assumed cancelled in favour of the C9-A2 MF .
