Overview[]

After the closing of Springfield Armory in 1968, Springfield Armory, Inc. was founded in 1974.

There is no connection to Springfield Armory other than the name, the motto ("The First Name in American Firearms", whereas Springfield Armory's "The Oldest Name in American Firearms"), and some of the firearms manufactured.
