The SIG Chylewski is a Polish-Swiss pistol developed in the early 20th century. This pistol was patented prior to the first world war, but only after was a manufacturer found that would produce the firearm. SIG Arms AG produced 1,000 examples with the intent to produce more if the weapon proved popular. The weapon did not take off, and Chylewski moved to Bergmann and Lignose, which produced further models of this pistol.
