Overview[]
The M1903 Rifle, also known as the M1903 Springfield, is an American bolt-action rifle developed in the early 1900s, seeing primary and varied usage until the early 1970s.
The M1903 was used during both world wars, and up until the Vietnam War by the United States of America. It was replaced by the M1 Garand in 1937, but they hadn't made enough to rearm all troops.
