The PPSh-41 or PPSh obr. 1941g. (GAU Index : 56-A-134 ) is a Soviet submachine gun developed in the late 1930s.
The Germans captured a large number of PPSh-41 submachine guns, designating them MP 717(r) . Many were also converted to fire 9x19mm Parabellum , which are designated MP 41(r) .
