The Multiple Gun Motor Carriage, T58 (abbreviated as T58 MGMC) is an American prototype self-propelled anti-aircraft halftrack. The trial vehicle was not even finished before the design was standardized as the M16 MGMC.
The T58 MGMC was developed in parallel to the T37 MGMC. A quad mount designated T61 was fitted to the M3 Halftrack that previously fitted the M33 twin mount T1E2 MGMC, which went on to create the M13 MGMC.
The vehicle was being constructed, but seeing how the new turret mount worked, it was quickly standardized as the M16 MGMC, even before the trial vehicle was finished.
The trial vehicle lacks multiple armour plates and accessories that the serial vehicle was produced with.
