The Halftrack Truck, T16 is an American prototype halftrack truck.
The T16 Halftrack Truck is unrelated to the T16 Halftrack Car.
The T16 is a prototype in a line of large halftrack trucks, immediately following the T15. Each proposal in this line was to be similar, but using different engines, transmissions, and general hull shaping. The T16 was fitted with the Hercules RXLD engine, however the General Motors 6-71 engine was available if required.
Two pilot vehicles were constructed and trialled in June 1943 at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The T16 was not adopted for service.
