The Halftrack Car, M2 (Elco B-6) is a descriptive name of an unnamed American prototype self-propelled anti-aircraft halftrack.
An M2 Halftrack (registration no. 4012073) was fitted with a B-6 turret from an Elco patrol boat, similar to the PT-556. The turret was comprised of four 20mm guns, and two .50 caliber machine guns. If successful, this complete vehicle would provide excellent anti-aircraft firepower, however due to the weight of the turret and guns the chassis was very overloaded. The project was terminated without further development.
