The Colt Dragoon is an American revolver designed by Samuel Colt, as an improvement upon the limited run of Walker model revolvers.

First Model Dragoon
Early production model which was designed in 1848, and produced until 1850 when replaced by the Second Model Dragoon
Second Model Dragoon
Second production model which was designed in 1850, and produced until 1851 when replaced Third Model Dragoon.
Third Model Dragoon
Third production model which was designed in 1851, and produced until 1860. Being the most common iteration, over 10,000 models were produced by Colt.
