The CS/LR4 7.62mm Sniper Rifle (abbreviated as CS/LR4), also known as NSG1, is a Chinese sniper rifle developed in the late 2000s.
Development[]
In c.2008, the 208th Research Institute of China Ordnance Industry and Changfeng Machinery Factory began a joint development program into a 7.62mm High-Precision Sniper Rifle System. The system replaced the JS 7.62mm Sniper Rifle in export.

Design[]
The CS/LR4 is essentially a CS/LR3 but chambered in 7.62x51mm. A MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Rail is fitted for optics, and above the end of the handguard. The trigger has two settings, an 8N and a 15N trigger pull.
The chassis is polymer, connected via a set of screws at the front and rear of the receiver. The chassis does not contact the barrel, and is a 720mm long. A mount for a bipod or other supporting device is present near the end of the lower handguard.
The weapon is usually advertised with a bipod and the CS/OS15 8-32x White Light Sight fitted.
