Overview[]
The BAD (later known as the BAD-1) is a Soviet experimental amphibious armoured car. The BAD was further developed as the BAD-2.
Development[]
The BAD began development in the early 1930s, based on the GAZ-AA chassis or a lengthened AMO F-15 4x2 chassis. The BAD had been fitted with flotation devices, however it isn't known if the vehicle was originally intended to be amphibious.
The BAD was built in small numbers to undertake trials, but series production did not occur.
