Overview[]

The BA-10 is a Soviet armoured car developed in the late 1930s from the BA-6.

Development[]

The BA-10 was next development of the 'heavy' armoured car line, following the BA-6 and the failed BA-9.

The BA-10 was in development by the Izhorskiye Factories' OKB in 1937, when it was later joined by GAZ to speed up development. Development was accelerated as tensions between Germany and Russia were increasing, despite the political assurances.
